Osborn J. Sickles Obituary

Osborn J. Sickles February 12, 1934 ~ December 5, 2021 Ozzie was born at home in Hilton Park, Middletown the first of twins. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He was a member of the Highlands Fire Department for 62 years. He served as Captain of the Fire Department Police. He was a graduate of Atlantic Highlands High School Class of 1954. When he was a teenager, he trained to be a racing jockey but decided against it. He was employed at the N.J. Parks Service at Sandy Hook and continued there when it turned into a Federal Park. He loved his hometown Highlands, the residents, and his Friends. He was predeceased by his parents Osborn and Katrin Sickles and his twin brother Bill Sickles. He is survived by his sister Margaret Wolf of Highlands, his niece Linda Bohman of Cave City, Kentucky and a nephew Bill Sickles of Denver Colorado. Ozzie was small in stature but large in life and love for his family and many friends. We will miss him dearly.
