Anthony “Tony” Caizza Jr, 65 Anthony J. Caizza Jr, 65, died April. 21, 2021, at his home in Highlands, New Jersey. Mr. Caizza was born October 11, 1955, in Red Bank, N.J. to Anthony Sr. “Casey” and Ann Marie Caizza. Tony was a cook in local restaurants along the Jersey Shore until retiring in 2015. Mr. Caizza spent more than 45 years as a resident of Highlands. Tony is predeceased by his parents Anthony Sr. and Ann Marie (née Dolan) and sister MaryAnn. Tony is survived by his sisters, Mildred Marella of Toms River and Catherine Merker of Middletown brothers, John of Highlands, Robert of Tinton Falls, William of Highlands, Richard of Union City, Joseph and Thomas of Atlantic Highlands, many nieces and nephews, and his cherished cat Mr. Gray. Tony was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, enjoyed watching classic black and white movies and playing cards against Mr. Gray. Friends will be received at Posten-McGinley Funeral Home in Atlantic Highlands on Friday, April 30th between 6-8 pm. A Mass will be offered at St. Agnes Church in Atlantic Highlands on Saturday, May 1st at 10 am. Interment will be private.
