The word "luz" translated from Spanish to English means "light". And that is what our Luz was to us; our light. She was also our love and beauty and the glue that held our family together.
Be it family or friends it is my belief they could feel that light and love emanating from Luz.
She was not a person of many words but when she spoke it was caring and thoughtful and wise. She often cared more for other people she did herself. She rarely had a negative word to say about anyone.
Luz worked for many years at SSL in Red Bank and considered many of her colleagues her friends.
Luz took great pleasure in walking the streets, hills and shorelines of Atlantic Highlands with her doggies.
She fought courageously and valiantly for nearly two year and never complained. A testament to her strength and fortitude.
She wanted this memorial to be a celebration of her life. She felt she had a good life and was surrounded by people that made it it quite beautiful.
She wanted to express thanks to all her family and friends for sharing this life with her.
Luz was the the beloved wife of Cameron Fish and cherished mother of Dan Saganome. Luz is also survived by her twin sister Maria Rincon and her husband Julio and their children: Nick, Tania and Santi.
Also her sister Martha with daughter Alejandra. And brother Raul with children their kids Andres and Anasofia. Luz is also survived by her Mom Josefina and dad Ismael and a large extended family in the United States and Colombia.
Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book.
