Obituary of Michael J. Donovan

Michael James Donovan, age 67, passed away on June 4, 2024, in Highlands, New Jersey. He was born on August 17, 1956, in New York, NY.

Michael graduated from Mater Dei High School in New Monmouth, NJ. After high school, he began his career working for Chemical Bank Water St in Manhattan and later joined the United States Postal Service, where he dedicated several years of service at Monmouth P&DC.

He is survived by his brother, Thomas Donovan. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Donovan Sr, and mother, Julia 

A viewing will be held at Posten-McGinley Funeral Home, 59 E Lincoln Ave, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716, on Monday from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at 10 am at Mary Mother Of God Church in New Monmouth, NJ, followed by burial at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
