Obituary of Ann Joy Isaksen

Ann Joy Isaksen (nee) Kenzia 96 of  Farragut TN formally of Port Charlotte and Leonardo NJ passed away March 22, 2024 in East Brunswick NJ. Funeral services will be held at Saint Agnes Church at 10 AM Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Grave site service will follow at Bayview Cemetery (Green-light).Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024  5 PM to 8 PM at Posten- McGinley Funeral Home Atlantic Highlands. She was born in Belford NJ. She attended St Agnes Catholic grade school and Leonardo High School, She was a wonderful Mother who was always there when we needed her. A favorite memory was playing the card game 500 rummy with Mom and learning arithmetic  by adding up the scores.  She as a devoted wife married to the love her life William M Isaksen for 64 years.She enjoyed painting seascapes, bowling and was an excellent pianist. She was a member of The Sons of Norway, The Rosary and Alter Society and enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader, She is survived by her brother Thaddeus (Ted) Kenzia of Middletown NJ and her children Linda McCarthy (John) of Farragut TN, William Isaksen (Kathleen)of East Brunswick NJ, Karl Isaksen (Leslie [Suzy]) of St Petersburg FL and 4 grandchildren,  9 great-grand children and many nieces and nephews, She will sorely missed by her family. We all loved her so much
