I will always remember the times I spent my Saturday mornings at the Village cut up. Linda was so enjoyable to talk with, and did a wonderful job with my hair. She was a warm and generous person, I will miss her.

Linda was such a wonderful friend to me. She would always make me laugh while cutting my hair. I never thought that on November 18th at 9:00am would be the last time I would see her. Linda and I met in high school and remained friends for nearly 60 years, even after I moved to Massachusetts. She was the moon to my sun, the straw to my berry, salt to my pepper. Linda introduced me to a new set of amazing folks I am proud to call friends. She took me along on many adventures, like the time she practiced her hairdressing skills on me. I had to go to school with orange hair; one epic included Whitey, the rest will remain our secrets. Linda styled the Veth family's hair for decades. She even stepped forward to fix dear my mother-in-law's hair after she died. After my own father died at the end of my junior year at MTHS, Linda's Dad stepped in when a father figure was needed. I remember him picking me up at my house in his Fire Chief's vehicle. He and Linda sat in my driveway; John turned on the loud speaker and encouraged me to come outside! To say Linda was beloved to the Veth family is an understatement. I love you, Linda! Until we meet again . . . Kathy Green Veth
