Obituary of Doris C. Reynolds

Doris C. Reynolds, 78 of Jackson, NJ, formerly of Atlantic Highlands passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She led a full and rewarding life lovingly raising her three children with her faithful and cherished husband Paul by her side.  Doris held many positions, both as a volunteer and career woman outside of the home. She actively served at Central Baptist Church, Atlantic Highlands as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Deaconess, Choir Member, Adult Bell Choir Member and Treasurer.  Upon her retirement they moved to Jackson, NJ where they became members of Jackson Baptist Church.  Doris served as a Counter, Assistant Treasurer and a Stephen Minister. She was also a long time member of a Wednesday MorningWomen's Bible Study group. She officially retired from the workforce in 2006 as a Government Civil Servant employee for the U.S. Army Comptroller's Office, Fort Monmouth, NJ. 

Doris is predeceased by her parents Alfred and Isabelle Conover, sister Margaret Mullins, brothers Alfred and George Conover and her loving husband of 54 years Paul A. Reynolds, Sr.  She is survived by her sister Florence Trezza of Middletown, NJ, Sister-in-Law Edith Conover of Atlantic Highlands, NJ and Sister-in-Law Fay Aldridge of Pelham, GA.  Doris was loved immensely and blessed by her three children; daughter Debra Myers and husband Bob of Jackson, NJ, son Paul Jr. and wife Michelle of Anderson, SC and daughter Julie Reynolds of Jackson, NJ. She leaves many loving memories for her 6 grandchildren; Matthew, Christian, Brandon, Tyler, Isabella and James, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are being handled by Posten-McGinley Funeral Home, 59 East Lincoln Ave, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, 07716.
A viewing for family and friends is scheduled for Tuesday August 2nd from 4-8 P.M with a service to follow on Wednesday August 3rd at 11 A.M. at Central Baptist Church, Atlantic Highlands, N.J.
