Margaret E. Falloon of Manalapan, NJ, formerly of Stapleton, died on August 28, 2026 surrounded by her family. Loving daughter of the late William and Margaret (McGinley) Falloon. 

Margaret graduated from St. Peter’s Girls High School class of 1949. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Hunter College in New York City after attending night school for 8 years, while simultaneously working a full time job. Margaret worked at Manufacturers Hanover Bank, and later became a Vice President at Alliance Capital. While she lived on Staten Island, Margaret was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church Stapleton.

Throughout her life, Margaret traveled all over the world from Ireland, to California, to Disney with her nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. She always enjoyed trips and time with family. When Margaret moved to Manalapan in 1970, she became an active parishioner of Saint Gabriel’s R.C. Church. She always gave back to her church, and instilled a strong sense of faith and religion in all of her family members. In her free time, Margaret could be seen gardening her flowers, reading a book, playing Scrabble, or a card or board game with her nieces and nephews. Margaret won a hard-fought battle against cancer and became a breast cancer survivor. 

She is survived by her brother, Roger (Rosemary) and Sister AnneMarie Falloon S.C. 

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, brother William, and sisters MaryEllen, Patricia, Joan Falloon, Elizabeth (William) Hunt, Sr. Barbara Jane O.P, and niece Kathleen Gresco.

She is the cherished and loving aunt of William and Laura Hunt, Susan and Chip Murphy, Timothy and Cathy Hunt, Roger and Beth Falloon, Kristen and John Gresco, and her seventeen grand nieces and nephews: Chipper, Caitlin, Maggie, Nicholas, Patrick, Lizzie, Tricia, Emily, Molly, Thomas, Andrew, Mary-Kate, Sean, Timothy, Michael, Grace, and Danny, who were the joy of her life. 

The viewing will be Friday, September 4th from 3 to 7PM at Posten-McGinley Funeral Home 59 E Lincoln Ave, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716. The funeral mass will be Saturday, September 5th at St. Gabriel’s Church 100 N Main St, Marlboro Township, NJ 07746 at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Gabriel’s Church.
