Joyce Senn Holcombe, age 93 passed away at the home of her daughter Beverlee Gross on Monday, March 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.  Joyce was the daughter of William and Josephine Senn). She was born in Pequannock, NJ.  Her family relocated to Leonardo, and she attended the Middletown, NJ schools, graduating from Middletown High School with the Class of 1951.

She met her beloved husband Jack.  They married in 1952 and were blessed with 49 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2001.  They settled in Leonardo where they proudly raised their four children, Beverlee, Stephen, James (Tammie) and Joseph (Mary). 

Joyce was active in the Ladies Auxiliary at Community Firehouse, in the past serving as President and Secretary.  She also volunteered in the Leonardo Grade School.  Joyce was adie-hard fan of the NY Mets, and also enjoyed excursions to Atlantic City.  She was also a bowler.  She was lifelong communicant of St. Agnes Church.

She was a loving grandmother to Lauren Gross, EJ Gross (Stefanie), Joseph (Amanda) Holcombe, Michael (Megan) Holcombe, Karly (Michael) Heimbuch,  Nikki (fiancé Ryan Fanner) and Lexi (Spencer) Pereless, Ashlee Smith, Derek and Jake Smith.  She was a Great-Grandmother to many.  

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, her brother Bill Senn, her devoted husband, Jack and her son-in-law Ed Gross.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her sister-in-law Rita Senn, and many nieces and nephews.  She was loved by all, and her memory will be cherished by the many family and friends who shared in her life and love.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 3-6 at:
