Keith Sablak Obituary
Keith Sablak of Leonardo, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born to Joseph Sablak and Eleanor (Malinowski) Sablak on October 26, 1955, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, he later lived in Highlands before moving to Leonardo. Keith graduated from Middletown High School in 1974. Four years later, he met the love of his life, Patricia Clark, and they were married in 1979.
Extremely hardworking, Keith always enjoyed creating and fixing things and had been employed as a mechanic, plumber, and carpenter before, most recently working at Channel Club Tower in Monmouth Beach for over ten years, where he maintained the building and assisted the residents, who frequently spoke fondly of him. Utilizing all the skills he’d learned over the years, Keith was always willing to help family and friends in need. Keith’s two biggest loves were his family—whether gathering together for a good meal or visiting the Outer Banks—and spending time woodworking.
Keith is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Patricia Clark Sablak; his daughter Amanda, her husband Stephen Tanay, and his granddaughter and best buddy Marra; his sister Sandy Murphy; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mark & Jayne Clark, Ted & Tina Clark, and John & Tina Clark; nieces Angela Blewett, Dawn Wolcott, Alicia Laberdee, Emily Clark, and Tianna Sleep; and nephews Ryan Clark, Joshua Clark, and Griffin Clark. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Eleanor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
