Debra Lynne Montgomery D’Alessio Obituary

Debra Lynne Montgomery D’Alessio entered eternal rest on December 26, 2025, trusting in the promise of God’s grace.

A devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Debra lived her life as a reflection of her faith, showing love, compassion, and service to all she encountered. Her family was her greatest blessing and joy. Debra will always be remembered for her kindness and strength and the countless ways she cared for others.

Debra was a lifelong resident and true fixture of the town of Leonardo, where she raised her two children, on the same street she grew up on, in a community she loved dearly. She found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved horseback riding and felt most at peace outdoors, whether walking along the beach or wandering through the woods with her pups. She had a deep love for animals, and her dogs were her constant companions.

Above all else, she loved her children. Her devotion to them was unwavering, and her greatest pride was being their mother. Her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit will live on through them and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, selflessness, and the love she gave so freely.

Debra is survived by her daughter Amanda (Jonathan), son Anthony (Brittany), grandson Bennett, sister Sandy (Mike) and nephews David, Grant, Alec and Charlie. She is predeceased by her husband Anthony D’Alessio, mother Ellen Montgomery and sister Darrell Ritchie. Her love and faith shaped her family’s lives and will never be forgotten.

A wake will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 4-7 pm at Postens-McGinley Funeral Home in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10:30 am at All Saints’ Memorial Church in Navesink, NJ.
